What I have learned this week in the life of parenthood, is that my daughter is nothing like I thought she would be when she was growing inside my belly. I would say I am a fairly laid-back, go with the flow, not too emotional, little drama type of gal but on the other hand my daughter is the exact opposite. She is feisty, dramatic, emotional and most of all extremely spirited. And of course that is why I love her so much. She has her very own personality; nothing I have done has taught her all these crazy-fun personality traits...at least I don't think so =)
Our good friends Megan and Elizabeth, who own Cuppies and Joe, bought June this little Okie shirt. Its good to be an Okie!

she is soo cute. And yes, she looks like she has some personality. One of the coolest things is getting to know your child as they grow up. When they learn normal every day things, it can bring tears to your eyes.
Heard a great quote from "Lost in translation" the other day. "When that thing is born, it is the most terrifying day of your life. Then they turn out to be the most delightful people" Not really terrifying but the right idea.
Congrats on a healthy, beautiful little girl!! Im sure Elaina would love to play and "take care" or that little baby!

Oh she is SO cute! I'm so glad we finally got to meet her! Babies are the best part of life...and they are ALWAYS your babies!
